Fleet H&S / compliance
Our fleet strategy
Whole-life fleet policy coupled with DVS safety standards
The CS Ellis fleet policy is whole-life for environmental gains (ESG)
(Whole life emissions versus production burden emissions)
However, to ensure that all older vehicles are as safe as possible, they are all deployed with the latest DVS safety equipment, even when it is not a legal requirement and irrelevant to cost
Older vehicles are retrofitted, and new vehicles are specified to achieve the highest TFL star rating while maintaining the environmental gains of the whole life fleet policy
our in-house workshop team
CS Ellis in-house workshop
“We roller brake test (RBT) all HGV’s and trailers every 6–8 weeks, government advice suggests, at least four times per year. Testing every time a vehicle is in our on-site workshop just makes sense; it keeps everything and everyone as safe as possible.”
