Meet some of the CS Ellis drivers who joined us in 2025
Ricky G: CAT C+E (Artic) Tramper
At school, Ricky always knew he wanted to be a professional driver — though his first job was actually in a surveyor’s office.
In 2020, he took the first real step toward his goal by becoming an apprentice CAT C driver He completed his apprenticeship in 2021 and wasted no time in upskilling to a CAT C+E licence the following year.
When the company he was with sadly went into administration, Ricky knew he wanted to find a company with the same close-knit, family feel. That search led him to CS Ellis.
Now part of the team, Ricky is already thinking about what’s next. He’s keen to keep learning, expand his knowledge of the industry, and work his way up the ranks in the transport office. Managerial ambitions? Absolutely.
